The Beginning of Everything

Two years ago, I was incredibly lucky to adopt two tiny, fluffy kittens after their mother passed away. I knew nothing about caring for such young animals, but I was determined to give them the love and care they deserved. So I did what anyone would do-I threw myself into learning. I read every book, article, and forum I could find about raising kittens.

As I learned, I started buying them more toys, puzzles, and games-anything to keep their minds active and their little paws busy. But two problems quickly became clear. First, everything kept disappearing under the couch, the bed, the fridge. Picking up their toys every day started to feel like a second job. Second, and more importantly, most of these toys didn’t really suit them. They didn’t adapt to each kitten’s unique personality or needs.

That’s when the idea took hold.

What if there were a system that could give cats the enrichment they need-without making life harder for their humans? A system that adapts to your space, your lifestyle, and most importantly, to your cat.

That’s what I’ve been building ever since.

Who we are

Hello, I’m Trace - a mechanical engineer and proud cat dad to George and Lucky. George is my orange tabby: insanely playful one minute, curled up in my lap the next. Lucky is my photogenic, gentle tortie who’s always down to hang out… until her favorite toy comes out and she goes full chaos mode.

Our Why

Cats have always been a source of comfort and companionship in my life. Through every challenge and milestone, their presence has brought me joy, calm, and a sense of belonging. I know firsthand how much love and support a cat can give, and I believe every cat deserves that same level of care and enrichment in return.But I’ve also seen too many cats miss out on the life they truly deserve—lacking the stimulation, play, and connection that keep them happy and healthy. After everything cats have given me, I started George And Lucky Co to give something back: safe, engaging, and thoughtfully designed toys that help every cat live their best life.

How are we Sustainable

Product Material

Eco-Friendly Materials, Made for Cats

All of our products are made using PLA (polylactic acid), a starch-based bioplastic. Unlike traditional plastics, PLA is both recyclable and biodegradable under the right conditions, making it a safer choice for the planet our cats call home.

At the end of its life cycle, we recommend dropping your product off at a local recycling facility so it can be properly processed — helping ensure that your cat’s favorite toys and care items don’t leave a paw print on the planet.

We Recycle

Closing the Loop on Waste

At George And Lucky Co, we believe caring for cats goes paw-in-paw with caring for the planet. That’s why we recycle all of our production waste responsibly. Any plastic scraps, damaged products, or leftover materials are returned to a certified recycling plant to be properly processed.

We don’t stop there — even the cardboard boxes and shipping materials that our raw ingredients arrive in are recycled or reused whenever possible. By keeping our operations circular, we reduce waste at every step, ensuring our toys and care products are as kind to the Earth as they are fun for your cats.
